Important Updates from the ATA

The American Trucking Association (ATA) has made several updates for 2025:

Class Retirement Rule: Drivers who have competed in the same class at Nationals for two consecutive years (2023 & 2024) must now retire from that class for the following two years. Step Van competitors who have competed at Nationals for two consecutive years must retire from the Step Van class for one year. See the attached 2025 NTDC/NSVDC Retirement List Here for details on which drivers must retire and from which class.

Accident Eligibility Request Form: The NTDC committee has updated this form, removing the crash information section. The revised version is attached here.

Facts for Drivers: The new edition is being formatted for print, with a digital copy available soon. Updates on the print edition release will follow once it goes to the printer.

2025 NTDC / NSVDC Competition: This year’s National Truck Driving & Step Van Driving Championships are scheduled for August 20 – 23, 2025, in Minneapolis, MN.

NTDC Champion Packets: Just like last year, NTDC packets for champions will not be sent in advance. Instead, once champions are registered with the ATA, they will receive an email containing all necessary information that was previously included in the packet.

Stay tuned for more details, and get ready to witness Wyoming’s best behind the wheel!
